(Reuters) – U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris believes the Federal Reserve should make decisions independent of the president, CNBC reported on Friday, citing a Harris aide.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Thursday that U.S. presidents should have a say over decisions made by the Federal Reserve.
